Cheung Sha Wan Promenade|Panda Flair Waterfront Cultural Heritage Exploration Exhibition:12 panda sculptures combining ICH and fashion trends

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Sham Shui Po District Office and Federation of HK Sichuan Community Organisations have collaborated with the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Office to organise a panda-themed exhibition entitled "Panda Flair Waterfront Culture Heritage Exploration" in Cheung Sha Wan Promenade. There will be 12 panda sculptures with a height of about 1.5 meters and with the design combining ICH and fashion trends. Among them, five "United Pandas" wear costumes symbolising elements of ICH items on the ICH inventory of Hong Kong , including Galvanised Iron Making Technique, Hakka Dialect, Tin Kung Yuk Wong Tai Tai (Jade Emperor) Festival, Dragon Dance and Culture of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Members of the public can learn more about the intangible cultural heritage of Hong Kong and Sichuan through the QR codes on site.
